Press: John Barnes named as an Icon by Columbia Regional Business Report

For the third year, the Business Report is honoring a pair of groups making an impact on the area business scene: Icons, the respected pillars who have established standards of business and civic excellence; and Phenoms, the motivated go-getters who are getting things done in new and exciting ways.

A diverse group of leaders from a wide range of industries will be honored Aug. 25 during a special event at DoubleTree by Hilton Columbia. The 24 Icons & Phenoms, representing fields from engineering to hospitality, were nominated by readers and colleagues and chosen by a panel of judges.
